Series History

The Thunder is 0-1 against the Pistons so far this season (0-0 at home, 0-1 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-9.5)

Call me a glutton for punishment; that’s fine. For the third game in a row, OKC is a heavy favorite against a seriously depleted team, and in this case, it’s the Pistons, who have the league’s worst record. Even without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder should be able to win this one by a heavy margin. I think last night’s loss should be more than enough fuel for OKC to come out and pick up a big win, so I’m taking the Thunder to win by double digits.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (227.5)

The Pistons have a bottom 3 offense AND defense, and when you put those things together, a low-scoring game will typically be the outcome. However, OKC has one of the top-scoring offenses in the league, and that’s enough to make me think they could really put it on the Pistons tonight. As a result, I’m comfortable taking the over on the point total.
