Both of our pick sets involve teams from San Francisco playing on the road. We’ve got the Giants at Colorado with our MLB picks, and we’re looking at the 49ers 1-0 vs. the Rams 1-0 for our NFL picks. It hasn’t been a great week all around for us, but NFL on Sunday is a great way to close things out.

Why We’re Taking The Rams At +7.5
The season is still very young and there’s still a lot to discover about each team in the league. What we think we know about both of the teams after Week 1 is that they’re solid on offense and stingy on defense. Both teams exploded for 30-plus points last week, and both will face a better defense this week. I like the Rams to lose this one by a touchdown or less, which puts us within that 7.5 point window that we’ve got.
Why We’re Taking The 49ers On The Moneyline
This is a divisional game in just the second week of the season. It’s incredibly important to both squads, so I believe it’ll be a fight all the way to the final snap. San Francisco has a slight edge with the skill position players and I think that tilts them slightly over a Rams team who is nearly equally as talented on the offensive side of the ball. This one should be fun!
Why We’re Taking The Under At 45 Points
I probably haven’t spent enough time talking about the defenses. They’ll both find areas of success against these potent offenses. I think we’re going to be in the neighborhood of a 41-point finish, which gives us just a little cushion before we exceed the 45 points.
