Series History

The Thunder went 2-2 against the Rockets last season (2-0 at home, 0-2 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-2)

The Rockets have had an interesting season thus far, losing their first three games before winning 6 straight. They are 8-1 at home, but they have yet to win a game on the road. Houston doesn’t seem quite ready to make the jump that the Thunder has made, and as a result, I’m thinking OKC hands the Rockets their first home loss since October 29th.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (226.5)

Oklahoma City has one of the better offenses in the league, but Houston’s defense has been the primary reason they have had any level of success so far. The Thunder is no slouch on defense either, but I think with a couple extra days of rest, both teams will come out ready to put some points on the board. It won’t be quite as high scoring as some of the more recent matchups between these two teams, but I can see this one safely hitting the over.
