This is the first meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Wizards. The Thunder went 2-0 against the Wizards last season (1-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-11.5)
While OKC should be able to absolutely throttle the Wizards, even though it is on the road, I’m just not feeling that confident. It’s not that the Thunder has played down to the last couple of opponents so much as it is that they just haven’t played well. I’m chalking a lot of that up to being tired from the recent stretch of top-tier teams, and while I think they get back on track with a win tonight, I think it’s a single-digit win.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (246.5)
In order for this one to go over the point total, it would have to be a blowout. I don’t see any chance of the Thunder giving up a ton of points to Washington, and though the Wizards allow the most points in the entire league, I still think it will be a somewhat close game at the end. I’m taking the under on this one.
