Series History
This is the first meeting between the Thunder and the Magic this season. The Thunder went 1-1 against the Magic last season (1-0 at home, 0-1 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (+11.5)
Before the Portland game, I said I don’t really like double-digit spreads. I knew the Blazers were awful, though, so I wasn’t particularly concerned, and the Thunder obviously covered that one. Orlando, however, is quite a bit better, and despite the fact that they are dealing with several injuries, they don’t lose by double digits very often, so I’m thinking OKC doesn’t cover the spread in this one.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (231.5)
The Magic definitely rely more on their defense than their offense, but OKC is just too good offensively not to score points. Because I think it’ll be a single-digit game, I’m thinking Orlando will figure out a way to keep up, pushing the over on the point total.
