Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #39 Preview: Los Angeles Lakers

Advertisements

A little over three weeks ago, the Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a 129-120 loss at home to the Los Angeles Lakers. OKC had one of their worst shooting nights of the season, and the Lakers had one of their best. It was a disappointing outcome for Thunder fans just a couple of days before Christmas.

Since that meeting, the Thunder and the Lakers have gone two very different directions. OKC has gone 9-2 with wins against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the New York Knicks, the Denver Nuggets, the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat, and the Orlando Magic. Meanwhile, the Lakers have gone just 3-10. Tonight, the Thunder and the Lakers meet again, but this time in Los Angeles.

Every game is up for grabs when you have Lebron James on your team, but he’s questionable to play tonight with a knee injury. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is also possible to miss while dealing with a sprained knee, which would be a big hit to the Thunder. Still, both of these teams have plenty of star power even if they are missing their main guys, so it should make for an exciting game.
