Series History

The Thunder are 3-0 against the Blazers so far this season (2-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-13.5)

This matchup is what I like to call a palate cleanser. After dropping the second game of a road back to back-to-back against the Lakers on Monday, this is a great bounceback opportunity for OKC. The Blazers are struggling as much as anybody to keep players healthy, and part of that is likely due to the desire to tank, but still, the games must be played by somebody. Portland managed to keep it close against Minnesota the other night, but I doubt that happens tonight. I see this one getting ugly early and staying that way.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (224.5)

Despite Portland’s lack of true scoring threats at the moment, I’m thinking they can still get close to their scoring average, and because I think this will be a blowout, that means the Thunder will easily be able to put up their scoring average to push this one well over the point total. No matter how the game goes, I don’t see anyway that the Blazers can slow down OKC on offense.
