A week ago we thought the Big 12 was shaping up. We thought there was an order to the conference with a clear separation of the contenders. That was a week ago. Now, it doesn’t seem that certain. There wasn’t a single team that we agreed upon unanimously for Week 10. Not Iowa State at the top, nor Kansas at the bottom. Not one single team got a full agreement on its placement from our four writers.
The result of this? We have eleven teams in a different spot than they were in Week 9, but Iowa State is no longer unanimous. The Cyclones lost one point in our rankings, and BYU picked it up. Kansas State still remains solid at our No. 3 spot. The craziness really starts with Colorado at No. 4.
Make sure to check out our individual rankings below.

Caleb
1. Iowa State | ISU got the week off as they prepare to host Texas Tech.

5. Cincinnati
6. Arizona State
7. West Virginia

11. UCF
12. Texas Tech
13. Utah
14. Houston
15. Kansas | Kansas is back to regular Kansas.
16. OSU | OSU is the only team still looking for their first Big 12 win this season.
Craig
1. Iowa State | The Cyclones had a bye week and stay on top of my rankings.
2. BYU | BYU was picked to finish near the bottom of the Big 12 and now they are a top 10 team in the country. You’ve gotta give it up to Kalani Sitake and his staff for what they’ve done in Provo.
3. Kansas State | A win is a win and that’s exactly what happened for the Wildcats this week.
4. Colorado
5. Arizona State
6. Cincinnati
7. TCU
8. West Virginia
9. Baylor
10. Texas Tech
11. Utah
12. Arizona
13. UCF
14. Houston
15. Kansas | The Jayhawks were so close against Kansas State but came up short. Things are heading the wrong direction in Lawrence
16. Oklahoma State | Another week, another loss for Oklahoma State. Still the only winless team in conference play.
Matt
1. Iowa State | Idle last week.
2. Kansas State | D.J. Giddens recorded 102 rushing yards for the Wildcats, who kept alive their chances of playing for a conference title and in the College Football Playoff by beating their in-state rival for the 16th consecutive time.
3. BYU | The Cougars continue to make their case to be included in the College Football Playoff as they sit undefeated heading into their final bye week of the season.
4. Arizona State
5. West Virginia
6. Texas Tech
7. Utah
8. Colorado
9. TCU
10. Cincinnati
11. Baylor
12. Oklahoma State
13. Kansas
14. Houston
15. UCF | The Knights have now lost five straight games. Their hopes of making a bowl game depend on winning three of their final four games.
16. Arizona | Arizona struggled against West Virginia’s run game and its offense came to life too late, putting the Wildcats in a difficult spot to become bowl eligible in a season where they were once ranked No. 20.
Zack
1. BYU | The Cougars are undefeated, and they look like the best team in the conference right now. Their 4 remaining opponents are in the bottom half of the conference, so they realistically could win out.
2. Iowa State | The Cyclones get bumped on a week off, which I usually don’t do, but it’s only because BYU was so convincing. Iowa State appears to be a on crash course for a monster matchup with Kansas State in the regular season finale.
3. Kansas State | The Wildcats had to come back in the 4th quarter to defeat the Jayhawks at home, which is a little embarrassing. Still, a win is a win, and their Big 12 Championship Game hopes stay alive.
4. Colorado
5. Cincinnati
6. TCU
7. Texas Tech
8. West Virginia
9. Arizona
10. Baylor
11. UCF
12. Arizona State
13. Houston
14. Utah
15. Oklahoma State | The Cowboys have fallen so far from grace, I can barely stand it. They might not win a game the rest of the season.
16. Kansas | Well, the Jayhawks almost beat the Wildcats in Manhattan. Almost.
