Series History
The Thunder went 4-0 against the Blazers last season (2-0 at home, 2-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-11.5)
OKC has won 12 straight against the Blazers and 6 straight in Portland. The first two meetings last season were blowouts of 43 and 62 points, but the most recent two matchups were single-digit decisions. Still, the Thunder is by far the better team, and regardless of where they’re playing the Blazers, they should be able to dominate tonight.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (221.5)
OKC’s defense continues to stifle lesser teams, and Portland is definitely a lesser team. The Thunder could end up winning this one by 20 points and still not hit the over on the point total because I expect the Blazers to be held under or just around 100 points.
