Series History

The Thunder went 2-2 against the Kings last season (2-0 at home, 0-2 on the road). The Thunder has lost 7 straight against the Kings in Sacramento.

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-4.5)

Despite a pretty successful last few seasons, the Sacramento Kings have struggled so far this year on their way to an 8-9 record. Now that OKC has Isaiah Hartenstein available, he should be able to negate some of the effect that Domantas Sabonis has had against the Thunder for so long now. The Kings are on a 3-game skid, and they are playing in the second game of a back-to-back. OKC hasn’t won in Sacramento since January 29, 2020—7 straight losses—and I think that comes to an end in a decisive manner tonight.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (225.5)

OKC’s offense is still struggling in plenty of areas, relying a lot on their defense to win games. Sacramento has had one of the league’s top offenses in recent history, but they’re somewhere in the middle like OKC so far this season. They’re also playing better defense than they typically have. I can see this one getting close to going over the point total, but I’m thinking it hits just below.
