Series History

The Thunder went 3-0 against the Grizzlies last season (2-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-6.5)

As of this writing, OKC will be playing without Luguentz Dort, Cason Wallace, and Alex Caruso. It is very possible that Dort and Wallace could be back after taking last night off to rest some bumps and bruises, but even if they don’t play, I see OKC covering this spread. Memphis is without Ja Morant, and while he’s not their only option by any stretch, he is a key piece that creates a completely different dynamic for the Grizzlies. Without him, Memphis is 8-4, so they have fared well in his absences, but I like OKC to cover decisively at home.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (230)

Memphis is the top-scoring offense in the league, and that doesn’t drop off in Morant’s absence. Still, OKC is the top defense in the league, and I expect the Thunder to drastically slow down what the Grizzlies like to do on the offense, so I’m taking the under on a point total that OKC has hit just 11 times in 30 games.
