The Oklahoma City Thunder got back on the winning track on Friday night as they handily defeated the Knicks 126-101 in New York. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 39 points, Isaiah Joe poured in 31 points behind 8 made threes, and OKC’s defense was able to stifle New York into a poor shooting night. Now the Thunder looks to continue building towards a new winning streak on Sunday evening as they take on the Washington Wizards on the road.
These two teams met just a few weeks ago in OKC, and after a slow start, the Thunder was able to pull away in the second half for an easy 123-105 win. OKC has won 5 in a row against the Wizards, and 3 of those wins have been by at least 18 points. The Thunder is a heavy favorite once again in tonight’s matchup, so another large margin of victory is expected for OKC.
