Why the Thunder Will Cover (-10)
It’s wild to think that the Warriors were NBA Champs just a few seasons ago, and now they’re a double-digit underdog to the Thunder. Golden State is a shell of its former self, and they’re not even in a Play-In spot in the Western Conference standings right now. OKC is coming off two days of rest, while the Warriors are playing in the second game of a back-to-back. The Thunder is as healthy as they have been in a while, and while Stephen Curry should be expected to play tonight, Golden State is still likely without Draymond Green or Jonathan Kuminga. I’m taking OKC to cover.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (228)
Golden State’s offense is as inept as it has been in many years, and OKC’s defense is the stingiest in the league. The Thunder have looked tired recently, but they are currently in a stretch of schedule that benefits them heavily, and tonight is a great example of that. As a result, I think OKC locks in on defense early, and we see a point total that stay well below the line.
