Why the Thunder Will Cover (-18.5)
The Lakers have played one game so far since losing Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves to injuries, and it wasn’t pretty. Less than a week after the Thunder dominated LA in OKC, I expect another dominant win. OKC is resting Jalen Williams, opting to play him tomorrow night against the LA Clippers, and LeBron James is also out for LA. Don’t be surprised if the Thunder puts together another dominant performance, which features plenty of play time for the end of the bench.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (220.5)
Missing your top three options on offense is not a great recipe for putting points on the board, so LA is going to struggle to score. OKC’s defense suffocated the Lakers last Thursday, and I think they’ll do the same tonight. Even if the Thunder blows this one wide open, I’m still taking the under on the point total.
