Oklahoma (-11.5) vs. Texas
The Sooners are looking to turn things around after starting the season with a losing record. After taking a loss last year at the Red River Rivalry, Oklahoma will find a way to win this one. Considering the defensive troubles at Texas right now, I think OU wins by two touchdowns.
Oklahoma State (-17) vs. Iowa State
The Pokes destroyed Texas last week in Stillwater and I believe they’ll keep the train rolling this week. OSU has looked great on offense all season. With the running game coming along, I think the Cowboys win big.
Kansas State (-8.5) vs. Texas Tech
The big key in this one will be defense. Texas Tech will have the offense, but they will not have the defense to get this one done. The Wildcats will win by two scores on Saturday.
Kansas (+28.5) at TCU: Yes, I know, “It’s Kansas,” but TCU’s defense is awful, and I don’t think they can outscore even Kansas by 4 touchdowns.
Oklahoma (-11.5) vs. Texas: OU is having a down year, but from what it looks like, Texas is most definitely not “back.” The Sooners could win by three touchdowns, because a lot of people are doubting whether they can even win this game.
Oklahoma State (-17) vs. Iowa State: The Cowboy offense is rolling, and Iowa State’s defense cannot get a stop to save their lives. The Cyclone offense was humming last week against a terrible Baylor D, but that was the exception, not the rule. Oklahoma State will enjoy another big win at home.
TCU wins comfortably but doesn’t cover in Lawrence. This game will be boring to watch.
The Sooners win, but just barely find a way to not cover. I could see something like a late TD in garbage time by Texas keeping the Sooners from covering.
Oklahoma State covers easily.. Yes the Cyclones looked good last week in a home loss to Baylor, but on the road against the Pokes will not be kind to them.
TCU (-28.5) at Kansas: TCU is angry after their loss to Oklahoma last week. More importantly, Gary Patterson is angry. They’ll look to take out some of that frustration on the Jayhawks. I’ve got the Frogs covering here.
Iowa State (+17) at Oklahoma State: Matt Campbell has started to figure some things out with the Cyclones and this is a good trap moment for OSU after last week’s huge win over Texas. Pokes win but ISU covers.
Kansas State (-8.5) vs. Texas Tech: The Wildcats may legitimately have the best defense in the Big 12 and the Red Raiders may be without Patrick Mahomes. I like the Wildcats to win and to cover.
