Oklahoma (-11) vs. Kansas State
The Sooners are coming off a win against the Longhorns where the offense was firing on all cylinders. I think the Sooners will continue to roll on offense against the Wildcats. With a few adjustments on defense, Oklahoma should win this one by at least two touchdowns in Norman.
West Virginia at Texas Tech
This one is going to come down to which team has the better defense. While I think this game has the chance of turning into a barnburner, I think the Mountaineers defense will step up to barely squeeze out a win in Lubbock.
Iowa State (+13.5) at Texas
The Cyclones have been so close, yet so far away in their last two games. After giving Oklahoma State and Baylor all they want and more, I think they finally get a win this week against the Longhorns.
Zack
Kansas State (+12) at Oklahoma: The Sooners are still a team with a lot of questions and few answers. I think the OU running backs will be more than “easy to tackle,” but Bill Snyder is a wizard, so I expect a Sooner win by a single touchdown.
Wear Virginia (Even) at Texas Tech: The Mountaineers have plenty of doubters remaining, and they will tack on another solid win this week. It may be close, the Mountaineer defense is superior enough to force at least a couple stops on the Tech offense.
Texas (-13.5) vs. Iowa State: The Longhorns are desperate, and the Cyclones are just not that good, despite valiant efforts the last two weeks. D’Onta Foreman should run all over Iowa State and cover the two touchdown spread easily.
Donnie
Oklahoma (-11) vs. Kansas State. I just don’t see any way the Sooners don’t cover on this one. Sooners in the 40s, KSU in the 20s
West Virginia (Even) at Texas Tech. I see somewhere around 100 points being scored. The Red Raiders win in Lubbock
Iowa State (+13.5) at Texas. The Longhorns win, but it’s not pretty and they don’t cover.
Matt
West Virginia (Even) at Texas Tech | Are you kidding me? A conference pick’em game between an undefeated team and the nation’s 113th ranked scoring defense. I’ll take the Mountaineers please.
Kansas (+35) at Baylor | The Jayhawks completely folded against TCU last weekend and could be a bit “hungover” heading to Waco. I think they’ll get thrashed against the Bears but five touchdowns is a whole lot of points.
Iowa State (+14) at Texas | I think this, and the OU/K-State game, will be a lot of fun to watch. I’ve got it as a three-point game either way…which means we should go with the Cyclones here.
