With the 21st pick of the 2017 NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder have selected 6’7″ 19-year old SG Terrance Ferguson. Ferguson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he played high school basketball. He spent the last year playing for the Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball league in Australia, where he averaged 4.6 points in 15.1 minutes per game.

Oklahoma City desperately needs quality wings who can shoot the ball, and while but Ferguson managed to make only 44.4% of his two-point attempts and 31.3% of his three-point attempts last season in Australia. These stats are not necessarily indicative of his shooting abilities, but Ferguson is not exactly the type of player that will have an immediate impact on the team, so one cannot help but wonder what else Presti has planned in the offseason.
