Oklahoma State had an impressive season debut against Tulsa last week. The Cowboys trounced their in-state opponent by a final of 59-24. The offense was impressive enough to continue pushing quarterback Mason Rudolph to the front of the Heisman race, but the defense did leave a few questions to be answered. Tulsa posted 432 yards of offense on Oklahoma State and benefited from two OSU turnovers. Tightening up their run defense and protecting the ball move to the forefront of Oklahoma State’s priorities for tonight.

South Alabama had a very good first half against Ole Miss last week but saw the game get out of hand in the third quarter. Their secondary was abused by the Rebels and now they face one of the most talented receiving corps in the country, highlighted by James Washington. Fixing problems in the secondary and trying to control the clock with their running game will be the focus of the Jaguars.
