In the midst of the big contract news with Russell Westbrook, today makes only 20 days until the season starts. There’s so much to be excited about with the season being less than three weeks away. If Westbrook signing a five year extension doesn’t get you ready for the season, nothing will.
There’s plenty more to be excited about as well. So many unknowns about this year that we can’t wait to find out about. The biggest unknown for this year is how all three super stars will play together. There’s certainly no lack of talent between Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony. The three guys combined have 20 All-Star games.

Each of these guys have had their own chance to lead a team. However, none of them really had any help around them. In the era of “super teams”, these guys decided to join forces to try to win it all.
The question remains, how will all three guys play together? The truth is, no one really knows yet. These guys have played together many times during the off season. Also not to be forgotten is the time they have spent as teammates playing in the olympics.
At the end of the day, these guys play basketball for a living. It may take some time to mesh on the court. Playing together in the olympics and during the off season is way different than an 82 game season. Considering all three guys can score from anywhere on the court, I assume the ball will be in the hands of whoever is in a rhythm. Regardless, our question will be answered in 20 days.
