The Cowboys were upset at home last week in their conference opener and now they’ll travel to Lubbock to try and return the favor. Texas Tech is 3-0 to start the season but will be testing the waters of Big 12 play for the first time this season.

OSU At Texas Tech Preview Posts
Storylines
For Oklahoma State you have to start with protecting the football. Turnovers have been a constant for the Cowboys through the first month of the season but hadn’t been costly until last week. The last thing you want to do when playing on the road is to give your opponent extra possessions…especially when that opponent is Texas Tech.
The other thing to look for is the right side of the offensive line. The Cowboys were exposed there last week due to injury. Tackle Zachary Crabtree could be back this week but guard Larry Williams is still out.
For Texas Tech the story is conference play. Fast starts haven’t been uncommon in Lubbock, but then again neither have struggles in conference play. People aren’t buying into the hype yet but a win over Oklahoma State would change that.
The Red Raiders are still prolific on offense and have shown signs of improvement on defense. Tonight’s game will be the strongest test both sides of the ball have seen this season.
