Oklahoma Sooners Debut At No. 24 In Coaches Poll

The Oklahoma Sooners continue to find themselves hitting new highs. Over the past week, Lon Kruger and the basketball program knocked off the then No. 25 USC Trojans in Los Angeles. With the narrow victory, OU secured the biggest win of the season and moved to 7-1 overall. However, the win also pushed Trae Young and the rest of the crew into the top twenty-five of the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Becoming the fifth ranked team from the Big 12 in the most recent Coaches Poll, it’s clear that conference play is going to be difficult once again. As teams begin to knock one another off, there’s a very real chance that all ten teams in the Big 12 could make the post season. Of course, the first goal is making the Big 12 Tournament.
