Sooners Post 20 Runs On 18 Hits In Rout Of ORU

Oklahoma’s baseball team posted 13 runs on Tuesday night, while blanking Little Rock, and followed that performance up with a 20-run game against Oral Roberts.

To say that OU’s offense is clicking right now would be a massive understatment considering the 33-run week that they are having.

Kyler Murray, who’ll be making his case for Oklahoma’s vacant quarterback position on Saturday afternoon, continues to show why he’ll be a coveted prospect in this summer’s MLB Draft. The redshirt sophomore scored three runs and knocked in three RBI on the night.

Junior Brylie Ware remained hot as well, going 4-for-6 from the plate with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored.

Juniors Cade Harris and Steele Walker went yard on Wednesday night. Walker’s blast, to deep right-center, was a 2-run shot.

The Sooners bombarded ORU with 11 runs in the first two innings, and then plated 9 more during the fourth through sixth innings, on their way to a 20-3 route.

Oklahoma remains at home this weekend for a three-game series against Texas.
