The recruitment of James Sylvester is just now taking off but the small list of offers he possesses is quite impressive. Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, SMU, and Texas A&M have all offered the class of 2020 weak-side defensive end and now he can add the Oklahoma Sooners to his list.
Sylvester announced via Twitter on Monday afternoon that he had received an offer from OU.

All of Sylvester’s offers have come in the last six months, starting with Baylor on December 5th. Before Oklahoma came in on Monday, Alabama was the latest offer, with the Crimson Tide coming through on May 4th.
At 6-4/215, his recruitment of the Newton, Texas product is going to explode from here. Last season, as a sophomore he recorded 83 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 8 sacks. 247Sports currently has him ranked as a 4-star recruit with the tag as the nation’s 11th weak-side defensive end prospect and 27th overall prospect from the state of Texas.
