2019 4-Star Offensive Tackle Puts Oklahoma In Top 7

National Christian Academy (Fort Washington, Maryland) four-star offensive tackle William Herrod will make his college selection on July 28th. For now though he’s narrowed his choice down to seven schools, with Oklahoma being one of them.

Tennessee, Michigan, North Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, LSU, and Oregon, all made Harrod’s list. His top seven eliminates 22 other schools that had offered him a scholarship.

At 6-5/305, Harrod has the frame that makes him a top target nationally. He’s not just big though, he’s also athletic and has enough quickness to get to the next level of a defense.

Oklahoma made their offer on February 23 but still remain in the top seven, along with Tennessee who offered on March 21st. The Sooners currently have six offensive tackles on their roster and thus far have no commitments from the position in the 2019 class.

247Sports has Harrod ranked as the nation’s 21st offensive tackle prospect and fifth overall prospect from the state of Maryland.
