Four-star defensive end Marcus Hicks has made his decision. The top-rated football recruit from the state of Kansas will jump south of the border to play out his collegiate career for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Ranked as a 4-star recruit, both by Rivals and 247Sports, Hicks currently holds 22 scholarship offers. Notre Dame, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, and Washington are just a few of the schools recruiting him to come play for them.
In the Big 12 Oklahoma beat out Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Texas to land a commitment from Hicks.
Rivals has the 6-5/236 Wichita (Northwest) prospect ranked as the top overall recruit from the state, while 247Sports has him at #2. Regardless, the Sooners are getting a consensus Top 25 defensive end.

Last season, as a junior, Hicks recorded 63 tackles with 19 ½ coming behind the line of scrimmage with 10 sacks, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
