Thunder Announces Las Vegas Summer League Roster

The Oklahoma City Thunder begins summer league play in Las Vegas with the rest of the NBA tomorrow, July 6th, and the organization announced the roster earlier today.

Summer League

The Thunder kicks off their three-game stint tomorrow at 4:30 PM (CT) on ESPNU against the Charlotte Hornets. On Saturday, they’ll take on the Brooklyn Nets at 6 PM (CT) on NBA TV, and on Monday, they will face off against the Toronto Raptors at 1:30 PM (CT) on NBA TV.

Oklahoma City guard Terrance Ferguson should be the focal point of the Thunder in summer league as he looks to expand his game beyond at-the-rim dunks and catch-and-shoot threes, which is what he did most of last season.

Dakari Johnson, Daniel Hamilton, and P.J. Dozier, who were all in Oklahoma City a season ago, are on the roster, along with second round draft picks Devon Hall and Kevin Hervey.

One notable name missing from the roster is Hamidou Diallo, a 6’5″ guard out of Kentucky that the Thunder has planned to acquire from the Hornets via a trade. The trade can not be finalized until tomorrow, however, so it can be expected that Diallo will join the team at that time.
