Oklahoma Quaterback Commit Has Monster Start To Season

We’re within two weeks of the college football season getting underway but the prep level began this weekend for several stats. The start of high school ball allows us football junkies to get our fix by following Oklahoma targets and commits.

If you know anything about football recruiting then you’ve no doubt heard the name Spencer Rattler. The 5-star quarterback prospect, from Phoenix, AZ (Pinnacle) committed to Oklahoma last summer (2017) and then tore up camps and 7-on-7 competitions this summer.

Camps are over now which means the senior is playing for keeps and, as the video highlights show, he’s not taking any prisoners. In Friday night’s season opener, Rattler completed 20 of 31 passes for 338 yards and four touchdowns. He also carried the ball five times for 58 more yards and two touchdowns in Pinnacle’s 59-33 win over Gilbert Perry.

Rattler turned down offers Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame, Texas, and nine other schools to commit to the University of Oklahoma.
