Oklahoma Sooners Host 2019 OT Stacey Wilkins This Weekend

This upcoming Saturday, Norman plays host to the UCLA Bruins as fans pour into the stadium once again. During the contest, at least one recruit plans to be on campus in Stacey Wilkins.

After receiving an offer in January on the Sooners’ Junior Day, the 4-star recruit contemplated the numerous offers on the table. Eventually, Wilkins committed to play at the University of Oklahoma seven months later — toward the beginning of August. Now, one month removed from the commitment, Wilkins official visit sits on the horizon. In an ever fluid state, the situation surrounding recruits can change leading to a decommitment. Hopefully that’s not the case for this offensive lineman.

Wilkins is rated at the No. 3 player in the state of Arkansas and the No. 17 offensive tackle in the country. He’s being recruited by Bill Bedenbough and Cale Gundy as a member of the 2019 recruiting class. Considered a ‘hard commit,’ it’ll take quite a bit of influence to change the mind of the lineman. However, Clemson just entered the equation.

Oklahoma will want to make a good impression with this committed high school senior during the weekend.
