Brendan Radley-Hiles

On Saturday, Brendan Radley-Hiles delivered the hit of the game against the Kansas State Wildcats near the sideline. Dislodging the ball from the arms of Blaise Gammon, the play left the two competitors lying on the field and in need of medical attention. Eventually making it to the sideline, Bookie never returned to the field. Addressing the concerns on Monday, Coach Lincoln Riley said the injury is not a long term deal.

Remaining optimistic for the young, budding star to return to the field this weekend, Radley-Hiles is questionable. Receiving word that the nickle back suffered concussion-like symptoms, Bookie must be cleared by a medical staff before returning to aide the defense. At this point in time, it’s not certain that he’ll be cleared in time for the contest against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Jonathan Alvarez

Missing the entirety of the game against Kansas State, the rest of the offensive line held up in Jonathan Alvarez’s absence. The injury sustained by the redshirt senior has yet to be disclosed to the public. Needless to say, it continues to hold the veteran out from competition. Without any information available, the status of Alvarez remains up in the air as far as the foreseeable future of the offensive lineman is concerned.
