Russell Westbrook took an awkward fall during the third quarter against the Pelicans on Wednesday night. You could immediately tell it was a serious injury based off of his reaction. Russ was clearly in pain, and he seemed pretty upset as well.

He landed on the the foot of Anthony Davis which caused him to roll his ankle. Westbrook was having a solid game with 17 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds at the time of the injury.
All of the energy was sucked out of the arena after the injury, and the Pelicans took full advantage. However, the Thunder rallied back and took their largest lead of the game heading into the final quarter.
At this time no additional information has been released. All we know is that it is being ruled as an ankle sprain at this point. A sprain seems like the best possibility for Westbrook and the Thunder. Heartland Sports will have you updated as more information is released.
