The Oklahoma City Thunder kicked off 2019 with a 107-100 win over the Laker in Los Angeles, but it didn’t come easily. For the sixth time this season, the Thunder shot below 40% from the floor, but this was the first time OKC came away with the win. Now, they turn their eyes to their matchup with the Trail Blazers in Portland tonight.

Portland started off the season as one of the hottest teams in the league at 10-3, but since then, they have struggled at time to get to 22-16. Damian Lillard leads the Blazers in scoring with 26.7 points per game, good for 8th in the NBA, but CJ McCollum, a traditional sharpshooter, is shooting a career-low 32.9% from three. Still, McCollum has the ability to go off at any given moment.

Russell Westbrook has continued to struggle with his shot, but Paul George has been hot, and Russ has found other ways to contribute to the game. The dynamic duo needs to play at their best to combat the talents of Lillard and McCollum.
