I’m not quite sure why OKC is the underdog here. Chalk it up to being on the road, I guess. The Thunder has already defeated the Blazers twice so far, and after yesterday’s crazy trade deadline, the Blazers are probably slightly less prepared for this game than OKC is. I like the Thunder to at least cover the small spread, but if Luguentz Dort is ready to go, then I like OKC to win.

Thunder Against the Spread | Will OKC Cover Against Portland Again?
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a rough shooting night on Monday, but he still managed to impact the game, and OKC pulled out the win off his buzzer-beater. I think he has a much better game tonight, and I think OKC finds a way to slow down Portland’s three-point shooting at least marginally better than they did on Monday. As a result, don’t be surprised if OKC beats Portland for the second time in three days.

The two teams meet again in OKC Wednesday night, and I would expect another exciting back-and-forth matchup, especially if Josh Giddey (non-Covid illness) and Darius Bazley (non-Covid illness) are back for the Thunder and Jusuf Nurkic (right calf soreness) is back for the Blazers.

Simply put, if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out again with a back contusion, the Thunder shouldn’t have a chance to win this one and probably not even cover, but I like what the second unit guys have been doing in the absence of Shai and other guys like Josh Giddey and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. I’m going to give the young guns a chance as underdogs and pick them to cover at home against Damian Lillard and the Blazers.

Tonight the Thunder hosts Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers, who are 17-13 on the season and 6th in the Western Conference. The Blazers have won 6 of their last 8 games, but two have come against teams outside of playoff contention and two were against the Timberwolves, who are just at 10th in the standings.

Tonight the Thunder hosts the Portland Trail Blazers, who are no stranger to an injured roster as they have been without key players for much of the season, including Damian Lillard, who has missed the last 15 games due to surgery recovery for an abdominal injury.

The Oklahoma City Thunder looked much more like the expected tanking team that they are last night as they suffered a scorching 140-103 loss to the Phoenix Suns. There is no rest for the weary, however, as tonight they travel all the way to Portland where they will take on the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Oklahoma City Thunder trailed by a lot for most of their matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, but that means nothing to a scrappy bunch who keeps playing their hardest until the final buzzer sounds. Still, despite OKC’s best efforts, it was Portland who was able to come out on top thanks to Damian Lillard catching fire from downtown.

Oklahoma City is 15-10 against the spread as an underdog this season but just 4-7 as an underdog at home. That said, Portland is 9-4 against the spread this season but just 7-7 as a favorite. The Blazers have only played twice this season as a 6-to-9 point favorite and are 1-1 in those games. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City is 5-3 on the year as a 6-to-9 point dog.

Tonight, the Thunder hosts the Portland Trail Blazers, a team that has also been bitten by the injury bug. Without CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic, Damian Lillard has had to shoulder the load more so than normal, and as a result, Portland is 16-10 and sitting at 5th in the Western Conference.
