Oklahoma State Receiver Tyron Johnson Is Heading To The NFL

On the final day that underclassmen are able to declare for April’s NFL Draft, Oklahoma State junior receiver Tyron Johnson is submitting his name.

Johnson averaged 15.9 yards per reception in 2018 and caught seven touchdown passes. The 6-1/193 product of New Orleans, LA. was second on the team in total number of receptions (53), receiving yards (845), and in touchdowns.

His departure will leave Tylan Wallace, Dillon Stoner, and Landon Wolf as Oklahoma State’s top three returning receivers in 2019. All three were sophomores last fall and finished in the top four among OSU’s receivers.

Wallace should be on the 2019 preseason watch list for the Biletnikoff Award.
