The Thunder acquired Luwawu-Cabarrot from the Philadelphia 76ers in July of 2018. The same three team trade in which Oklahoma City acquired Dennis Schröder.
“TLC” played in 21 games this season for the Thunder. He played an average of 5.8 minutes per game, and scored 1.7 points.
This move now gives the Thunder a couple of options. They can either sign another player who is less expensive than “TLC”, or they can save the money.
