If you watched last month’s NFL Draft then you’ll not be surprised in the least that high school offensive lineman prospects want to come play football at the University of Oklahoma. With four linemen selected in the draft, and at least two more as legitimate possibilities for next year, OU has become a pipeline to the NFL.
Frisco, Texas (Reedy High School) offensive tackle Nate Anderson became the latest commitment to come play for Bill Bedenbaugh. The 6-5/262 4-star prospect made his commitment via Twitter on Monday night.
Ranked by 247Sports as the #14 offensive tackle prospect in the nation, and the #18 overall prospect from the state of Texas, Anderson has earned offers from 21 schools, including Arkansas, Florida State, TCU, and USC.
Anderson becomes the seventh commitment for Oklahoma’s 2020 recruiting class. 247Sports has the Sooners with the top class in the Big 12 and #14 nationally.
