The top six teams in the Big 12 will compete in Oklahoma City for the softball championship this weekend with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State having the top two seeds.
The Sooners became the first Big 12 team to finish conference play in back-to-back years, and have won eight consecutive regular season titles. OU is also the two-time Big 12 Tournament Champs taking home the trophy both times since the tournament returned in 2017.
Oklahoma drew the #2 seed with a 13-5 Big 12 record. The only series they lost in conference was Bedlam but they may get an opportunity to make amends as the seeding sets up for a potential fourth Bedlam game for the championship.
