Nerlens Noel Re-Evaluating Agreement with Thunder

After initial reports from ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski indicated that Oklahoma City Thunder backup center Nerlens Noel would be returning, it appears that Noel has backed out on the initial agreement with intentions of continuing discussions with the organization.

Undoubtedly the issue is concerning the financial side of the agreement, as the Thunder supposedly has very little money to work with in terms of signing Noel to a larger contract than the player option that he opted out of just a few days ago.

Very little details have been leaked about the situation, which is consistent with the way that Thunder GM Sam Presti likes to do things, but after hours of no information, it makes sense that the agreement is now re-opened for discussion.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
