Oklahoma City, Bishop McGuinness High School, standout Brynden Walker has had a change of heart when it comes to his football recruitment. The 3-star outside linebacker commitment had been committed to Oklahoma State since March 4th but a month and a half later the Sooners made an offer that would change things.
Walker, who was offered on April 19th, made an unofficial visit to Norman on May 10th and has now officially flipped to become a Sooners commitment.
A 6-3/230 prospect for the Class of 2020, Walker is the No. 8 ranked player in the state of Oklahoma and the 44th overall outside linebacker prospect nationally.
Walker currently holds thirteen scholarship offers including ones from Big 12 opponents Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas and Texas Tech.
He becomes just the second linebacker commit for Alex Grinch’s defense (Joining Edgerrin Cooper) and the 13th overall commitment for a 2020 Oklahoma class that currently ranks #1 in the Big 12 and 13th nationally.
