Oklahoma was always in the picture for Broken Arrow (OK) prospect Andrew Raym. Through is initial commitment in November of 2017 and subsequent decommitment in May of 2018, the Sooners were always in play.
On Wednesday evening Raym mad it official, one more time, that Norman would be his college destination. When asked why he chose OU, Raym told OUInsider (247Sports), “For 18 years I have been wearing Boomer jersey’s and Sooners across my chest. It ended up being a dream I could never let go, so that is why I am going to OU.”
At 6-5/285, Raym is the top prep prospect in the state of Oklahoma and the #3 national prospect at the offensive guard position. With 19 total scholarship offers, including the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Texas, Raym is a dream come true for OU offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh as well.
Raym becomes the 14th member of Oklahoma’s 2020 class. The Sooners are currently ranked by 247Sports as the top recruiting class in the Big 12 and the 12th ranked class nationally.
