Oklahoma State Cowboys 56 – McNeese 14 | Quick Hits



Oklahoma State took care of business in their home opener by dismantling McNeese 56-10. The Pokes will take to the road for their next two games, at Tulsa and at Texas before returning to Stillwater to play Kansas State on September 28th.

  • Oklahoma State Cowboys improve to 2-0 on the season.
  • Spencer Sanders had a slow start without putting points on the board 2 out of the first 3 series but had a strong finish in the game with ending his night after the first series in the second half. He was 12/18 for 250 yards 3 TDs passing, 12 carries for 51yards, 0 turnovers, and only getting sacked once.
  • Dru Brown had a strong first showing in an OSU uniform going 7 of 10 for 142 yards and 2 TDs.
  • A.J. Green had a pick 6 the second defensive play of the game.
  • Tylan Wallace is continuing his campaign for the Biletnikoff with catching 5 of his 10 targets for 180 yards and 3 TDs.
  • Outside of the early fumble that Spencer Sanders recovered Chuba Hubbard had a solid 8 carries for 44 yards.
  • Malcom Rodriguez lead the team with 11 tackles.
  • Amen Ogbongbemiga has had a sack in each of the first 2 games of the season.
