The no. 10 Oklahoma State Cowboys looked as good as they have all season on Saturday night as they overcame an early fumble on the first possession of the game to absolutely dominate the visiting Texas Christian Horned Frogs. TCU was on the verge of scoring after recovering a fumble at midfield just a couple of plays into the game, ,but the Cowboy defense held strong, and then the offense took over. It didn’t take long for the points to pile up, and at the end of the night, Oklahoma State put up their highest scoring game of the season, defeating TCU 63-17.

The no. 11 Oklahoma State Cowboys proved once again on Saturday. that they have not just one of the best defenses in the country but perhaps one of the best teams. The West Virginia Mountaineers scored on their very first drive to take a 3-0 lead over the Cowboys, but it was all Oklahoma State the rest of the way as they left Morgantown with a 27-3 victory and improving to 8-1 on the season.

Oklahoma State 21 – Iowa State 24 | Spencer Sanders Had a Day, Controversial Calls, and Conservative Play Calling

First things first: we need to give credit where credit is due. Cowboy quarterback Spencer Sanders had one of the best games of his career and by far his best game of the season. Oklahoma State relied heavily on the run early, and Sanders played a key role that in that by using his feet to help the Cowboy down the field, but his first pass of the day was a 5-yard completion to Brennan Presley for a touchdown.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys played a far from perfect game on Saturday night. Losing the turnover battle 3-0 is no way to put on your best performance. Despite the shortcomings of primarily quarterback Spencer Sanders, the Cowboys were able to overcome and hold on for a 24-14 win at home over the Baylor Bears.
