|Friday Lock Results|
Florida (-5) at South Carolina | After the disappointing loss against LSU last weekend, and South Carolina having the huge OT win against Georgia, I believe that Florida will be ready to play and play angry.
Temple (+7.5) at SMU | Temple has impressive wins over Georgia Tech, Maryland and now Memphis. I’m not ready to pick them to win but they’re should be motivated and keep it close.
Penn State (-8.5) vs Michigan | Penn State has impressed me this season and Michigan has been very inconsistent. I expect Penn State’s defense to dominate and the offense to put more than enough points to cover.
LSU (-17.5) at Mississippi State | The Tigers continue putting up gaudy numbers on offense. I’m not sure the Bulldogs are capable of out-scoring this LSU program. Despite a fairly large margin, I’m taking the Joe Burrow and company.
Florida (-5) at South Carolina | I have a feeling the line is less than a touchdown due to the upset the Gamecocks pulled off last week. However, they’ll attempt to defend home turf with an injured Ryan Hilinski at quarterback. I’m curious to know how long the signal caller will play, if at all, in the contest. Give me the Gators all day long in that situation.
Boise State (-7.5) vs BYU | As one of the few undefeated teams remaining in college football, the BSU defense is holding opponents to 19 points per game. That doesn’t bode well for a BYU team averaging 22. Given the scoring statistics I’ve got to go with Boise here.
LSU (-17.5) at Mississippi State | The Bulldogs aren’t great, and i don’t care is this is at home, there’s no way they keep it within 3 touchdowns.
Missouri (-21) at Vanderbilt | Is Missouri good? I don’t know, but Vanderbilt isn’t, that’s for sure.
Kansas at Texas (-21.0) | I feel bad for the Jayhawks. The Longhorns are going to bounce back in a big way after losing to the Sooners last weekend.
Baylor (+4) at Oklahoma State | I don’t think the Bears are getting nearly enough credit for what they’ve done this season. I expect them to show up to play on the road against the Pokes.
LSU (-18) at Mississippi State | LSU seems to be the real deal this year. On the other hand, Mississippi State has been somewhat of a let down. I think the Tigers will win big on the road.
Texas (-21) vs. Kansas | The Longhorns are looking to bounce back after a loss to the Sooners last week. They shouldn’t have any issues taking care of business against Kansas.
Florida (-5) at South Carolina | This is a perfect “set up” game as far as the line is concerned. USC is coming off a major upset and the Gators are coming off a disappointing loss. Defense will be the story here. Florida is only allowing opponents to score an average of 14.1 points per game this season. Give me the Gators!
Oregon (-3) at Washington | This game will feature two of the Pac 12’s best offenses but give me the better defense on the road. I like the Ducks in this one.
Penn State (-8.5) vs. Michigan | You remember the Michigan/Wisconsin game, right? This game will give Wolverine fans deja-vu. Give me Penn State please.
