Oklahoma State Football | Homecoming Heartbreak Quick Hits

The Cowboys kept up with the undefeated Bears in Stillwater, for homecoming, trading scores throughout the first half. Oklahoma State even had the lead, 27-24, in the fourth quarter, but after giving up a touchdown on 3rd and goal Spencer Sanders almost immediately fumbled the ball resulting in a scoop and score that suddenly put OSU down by an 11-point deficit.

The Cowboys never recovered after that point as Sanders ultimately added three more turnovers to his tally for the year, in a disappointing 45-27 loss. Sanders fumbled twice and threw a 3rd down interception, in the end zone, just before half. You can’t help but think how the game could have been different had OSU even been able to kick a field goal before the half.
