Setting the Stage
The struggles continued for the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday as they were embarrassed on their own field on Homecoming Day against the Baylor Bears 45-27.
Quarterback Spencer Sanders continues to struggle with turning the ball over, and a large part of that could be due to the lack of protection from the offensive line. Things aren’t getting any easier for the Cowboys, however, as they take on the Iowa State Cyclones today in Ames.
Meanwhile, the Cyclones have had a bit of an up and down season. After struggling to a 2-2 start, Iowa State has run off 3 consecutive wins, and they are back on track for a successful season.
Today’s matchup will be fuel for the fire for both teams. Oklahoma State is in desperate need of a win, but they are double-digit underdogs. Iowa State wants to continue with their momentum and keep their Big 12 Championship hopes alive.
