Receiving attention from a single school, the Austin, Texas native earned a scholarship offer from Columbia. A private school in New York City, the university is known for it’s biomedical sciences as well as the engineering program. Considered a prestigious school, Groos turned down the Ivy League experience to pursue a football career at a perennial powerhouse.
Joining five others at the position including incoming freshman and dual-threat quarterback, Chandler Morris, the room is starting to look quite full.
