Attempting to get back on track offensively speaking, Austin Reaves netted a 13-point effort for the Oklahoma Sooners early in the week. The performance did little to prepare fans for the scoring output to come over the weekend for the guard.
Pacing the entire conference in the statistical category, Reaves collected 54 total points during the two game span. Helping lead the charge toward the post season, the junior’s output secured a 1-1 week record alongside the No. 3 seed in the Big 12 Tournament. Behind the eye-popping week, Reaves was named the conference player of the week.

Most impressively, Reaves connected on 51.6% of his attempts from the floor. Needing a player to stand next to Kristian Doolittle down the stretch, it appears as though one has risen to the occasion.
Hoping to carry the momentum into the Big 12 Tournament, the Sooners being preparing for the West Virginia Mountaineers on Thursday. It’s a pairing that resulted in two previous wins for Oklahoma during the regular season. Will the third end similarly?
