Oklahoma Football | Jordan Mukes Becomes Fourth Commitment For 2021

It didn’t take long to figure out who Lincoln Riley’s eyeball emojies were about on Monday afternoon. Three-star prospect Jordan Mukes followed Riley’s tweet, about five hours later, with one of his own to announce his commitment to the Sooners.

Sitting on eleven scholarship offers, including OU, Mukes is ranked as the #6 overall player from the state of Oklahoma by 247Sports. Despite playing corner in high school, he’s projected as a safety at the collegiate level and has the frame (6-4/192) to do just that.

He becomes the first defensive back in the 2021 class and the second defensive player overall, joining Weatherford defensive end Ethan Downs.
