Neville Gallimore Joins CeeDee Lamb In Dallas, Cowboys Use 3rd-Round Pick

With the 18th pick of the third-round (82nd) overall, the Dallas Cowboys selected defensive tackle, Neville Gallimore, reuniting him with former Oklahoma teammate CeeDee Lamb.

The first thing you’ll want to take note of with Neville Gallimore is that he’s a winner. A four-year player for the Sooners, Gallimore left Norman, Oklahoma with five Big 12 championship rings.

At 6-2/304, Gallimore has a quick burst off the snap and a strong motor that allows him to be disruptive in the backfield and move sideline-to-sideline quicker than most defensive linemen. He’s also a finisher who will play right up to the whistle.

He’s a master at creating pressure on the quarterback because not only is he fast, but he’s also a hustler. If he has to take the extra steps to pursue the quarterback outside of the pocket then he’s going to put his head down and go at it faster than just about any defensive tackle out there. Quarterback absolutely have no room for comfort with Gallimore breathing down on them, and that’s a commodity that not everyone possesses.

The Cowboys selected Lamb in the first round withe the 17th overall pick.
