Latrell McCutchin has long been thought to be heading to Oklahoma but there was still a bit of skepticism because Alabama was in on him as well. The #11 cornerback in the 2021 recruiting class, and #21 overall prospect from the state of Texas, said on Twitter Tuesday night that he may be about ready to commit and 247 Insider Hank South cast a crystal ball prediction that it would be a commitment to the Sooners.
South becomes the eleventh person to throw a crystal ball prediction but what sets him apart from the others is that he is an Alabama Insider and casting a vote for Oklahoma.
Oklahoma was the only Big 12 school to make McCutchin’s Top 10. The 6-1/176 Austin, Texas native had a final final list included Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and Oklahoma. Those ten were trimmed down from his offer list that included a total of 30 schools.
