Over the past five years, the Oklahoma Sooners have sat atop the Big 12 and are currently looking to extend the streak. Therefore, it should come a no surprise that the program is once again favored to take home an unprecedented sixth consecutive conference championship. While a majority of outlets believe that to be the case, the same cannot be said for their nemesis.
Setting out to rank the teams that call the Big 12 home, 247Sports polled nearly five dozen beat writers for their opinions. Counting the votes, here’s where the group thinks each team will finish in the standings at the end of the 2020 season.

Clearly the Longhorns remain the biggest surprise of the group. Many national analysts believe that Sam Ehlinger is a Heisman Trophy contender and that Texas will compete for the Big 12 crown if not for a National Championship this season. However, those close to the league have tell a different story for how the season will shake out for Tom Herman and company.
